Hello, I’m Ashley!
Thank you for visiting my site.
My name is Ashley. I’m a designer, illustrator, accountant, robotics coach, and community volunteer. I studied at Marshall University, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2016 and a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2018. My areas of emphasis are graphic design and accounting.
If you are wondering why graphic design and accounting — well, I’m not sure what to tell you. They are very different fields, but I enjoy them equally. I received my first copy of Photoshop when I was high-school age, teaching myself through online tutorials. After interning as a graphic designer at my church, I knew this was a field I wanted to get into. Several years later, after taking many design courses at Marshall, I needed some “non-art” electives and took business courses thinking they would help me run my own company someday. The accounting courses were particularly enjoyable, so I continued taking them — and eventually finished the classes needed for an accounting degree. Currently, I am working as a field auditor for the WV State Auditor’s Office, and I spend my free time volunteering and freelancing.
